Our client, a global luxury fashion division, is hiring a Retail Technical Project Manager to join their team in NYC on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).
Job Duties Include:
- Lead the definition and implementation of local retail improvement initiatives with a focus on best-in-class experience for clients and store employees
- Lead regional implementation of centrally developed point-of-sales projects including Mobile POS, POS upgrades, etc.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, vendors, and resources effectively
- Define and track budget for equipment, vendors, and services
- Develop comprehensive project plans, define project scope, and deliverables to meet specific needs
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth implementation
- Conduct testing and quality assurance procedures to guarantee the user experience and performance of implemented solutions
- Develop training materials and knowledge base updates
- Provide post-implementation support to address regional issues
- Develop and maintain retail labs environments in corporate offices
- Act as subject matter expert on retail solutions & apps
- Configure and troubleshoot store systems, including POS terminals, printers, payment devices, etc.
- Investigate recurring and systematic issues and identify opportunities for process and user experience improvement
- Collaborate to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by stores
- Provide support for retail apps and POS systems and escalate as needed
Job Qualifications Include:
- 5+ years of proven experience in technical project management within a retail environment
- Experience with Cegid Y2 point-of-sale and mobile point-of-sale system.
- Technical support experience with mobile devices and apps
- Familiarity with basic network and printer configurations.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information
- Experience in a multi-brand environment preferred
- Ability to speak a French, Spanish, or Italian as a second language is a plus
- PMP certification preferred
- Familiarity with Adyen, Avalara, Yoobic, UKG Dimension, and/or Oracle Micros POS preferred
Salary: $105k - $115k annually + bonus
